Overview
PROASP supplies tamper-evident release film to security-bag and packaging manufacturers as a component of their own bag construction. The film carries the evidence layer: when someone attempts to open a sealed bag, the attempt stops being invisible.
Standard supply is Level 3 — a permanent VOID transfer construction in red or blue, slit to 27, 30, 35 or 45 mm, printed with your own message. The material is 100% recyclable low-density polyethylene, which matters increasingly to the brands your bags carry.
Materials, colours, surface graphics and messaging are customised to the bag you produce and the customer you produce it for. Where the application calls for it, constructions can include the Level 4 heat indicator that responds to heat-assisted opening attempts, and security face cuts that increase the visible evidence a removal attempt leaves behind.

How it works

Sealed
The film is applied as part of your bag construction and the bag is sealed by the end user.

Interference attempted
Someone attempts to lift, peel or heat the seal to open the bag without authorisation.

Evidence appears
The layered construction reveals a permanent VOID message. On Level 4 constructions the heat indicator also changes colour to expose a heat-assisted attempt.

Recipient sees it
The evidence is visible on inspection and cannot be reversed by resealing.

Ask a technical questionDo you manufacture finished security bags?
No. PROASP supplies the tamper-evident release film to security-bag and packaging manufacturers, who integrate it into their own bag construction. If you manufacture bags, this is a component you specify into your product.
Can we put our customer's own message on the film?
Yes. Messaging, colours and surface graphics are all customisable through eight-colour gravure printing. VOID, STOP and TAMPERED BAG are the common ones, but the wording is yours. Share the message, artwork and the bag construction it will run on.
What widths and colours are standard?
27, 30, 35 and 45 mm in red or blue. Other widths are slit to requirement and other colours are produced to your specification.
Is the film recyclable?
Yes. It is 100% recyclable low-density polyethylene, so the security closure is compatible with polyethylene recycling streams rather than contaminating the bag it seals.
Does every construction include the heat indicator?
No. The heat indicator is the Level 4 construction and is specified per application. Level 3 is the standard VOID transfer construction without it.
