The company
PROASP is a specialty-film manufacturer serving packaging converters and security-sensitive supply chains. It combines in-house production, application-specific development, responsive technical support and dependable supply to improve converting performance and make package interference visibly evident.
The business did not begin as a manufacturer. It began in trading and packaging-material supply, which is a useful place to start — it teaches you what customers actually complain about before you start producing anything. The move into manufacturing came from that: the problems worth solving were in the material itself.
Today, coating, printing, lamination, slitting and winding all happen in house in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. That matters commercially rather than just technically. When a customer needs the release value moved, the width changed or a security layer built differently, it is a production decision rather than a negotiation with three suppliers.

Manufacturing approach
Built around the application, not the catalogue
A release liner is not a commodity once it reaches a real production line. Release value has to match the adhesive system. The base film has to hold its dimensions through coating and lamination. The roll format has to suit the unwind. Get one of those wrong and the material technically meets its specification while still failing on the line.
So constructions are developed from the application backwards: substrate, process, conditions, finished format — then the material. Samples are produced and tested in the actual application before anything moves into regular supply.
