Overview
Paper release liner is what most label converting still runs on. It lies flat, it die-cuts cleanly, the matrix strips without stretching, and it takes a print or a back-print without the handling care a thin film needs.
PROASP supplies silicone-coated paper liner from 67 gsm upward. Substance is chosen against the die-cutting and dispensing the liner has to survive: lighter grades keep roll diameter down, heavier grades hold up better through aggressive matrix stripping and high-speed dispensing.
Standard rolls run to approximately 2,400 to 3,000 m on a 3 inch core at roughly 12 to 14 inch outer diameter, with width slit to requirement.

Peel force is developed against your adhesive system through sampling.

The liner is slit to width and wound to approximately 2,400 to 3,000 m on a 3 inch core.

67 gsm is the lightest grade supplied and keeps roll diameter down. Heavier substances hold up better through aggressive matrix stripping and high-speed dispensing. Describe the die-cutting and the dispensing speed and the team will recommend a substance.
How long are the rolls?
Approximately 2,400 to 3,000 m on a 3 inch core at roughly 12 to 14 inch outer diameter. The exact length varies with paper substance, because a heavier paper reaches the same diameter in fewer metres.
When would you use paper rather than film?
Paper is the usual choice for label converting: it lies flat, dies cleanly and strips predictably. Film is the better answer where the construction needs thin gauge, clarity, dimensional stability at high line speed or resistance to moisture.
Can the liner be printed?
Yes. Custom printing is available, including back-printing for product identification and reorder information.
