Who we are

Proasp India Pvt Ltd (“PROASP”, “we”) operates this website at https://pro-asp.com. We manufacture specialty films and tamper-evident materials and supply them to businesses. This website is aimed at businesses, not consumers.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit an enquiry, request a quotation, request a sample or ask for documentation, we collect the details you enter on the form. That typically includes your name, company, work email address, telephone or WhatsApp number, country, and the technical and commercial details of your requirement. Where you attach a file — a drawing, a specification, a product photograph — we collect that file.

Information collected automatically

We record which page an enquiry was submitted from and, where present, campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (UTM values). If analytics is enabled and you have consented to it, we may also collect aggregate usage information.

Where we need a stable identifier for security purposes — rate limiting a form, or recording that a document was downloaded — we store a one-way cryptographic hash rather than your IP address. We do not store raw IP addresses.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and prepare a quotation or sample.
• To provide technical support during material selection, sampling and scale-up.
• To arrange despatch of samples or goods, including export documentation where applicable.
• To keep records of business communications and transactions.
• To protect the website against spam and abuse.
• To comply with legal, tax and customs obligations that apply to us.

The lawful basis is generally the performance of, or steps towards, a contract with the business you represent, together with our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. Where consent is required — for non-essential analytics — we ask for it.

What we do not do

• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing to individuals who have not asked to hear from us.
• We do not require you to submit personal data in order to download published technical documentation.

Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only to the extent required:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage for enquiry records.
• Our email provider — delivery of enquiry notifications and acknowledgements.
• Hosting provider — serving this website.
• Logistics and customs agents — where required to ship samples or goods to you.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

International transfers

We are based in India and serve customers in several countries. Personal data you submit may therefore be processed in India and in the countries where our service providers operate.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for as long as needed to handle the enquiry and to keep a record of the business relationship, and for any longer period required by tax, customs or other legal obligations. Files attached to an enquiry are stored privately and are not publicly accessible.

Security

Enquiry data is held in a database protected by row-level access controls. Files you attach are stored in a private bucket that is not publicly readable; internal staff access them through short-lived signed links. Access to enquiry records is restricted to authorised staff and is logged.

Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and — where applicable — receive a copy in a portable format or withdraw consent.
