Technical documentation, without a form in the way
Product sheets, VOID material information and demonstration media, organised by product and application. Documents download directly — no lead form stands between an engineer and a specification.

Available on request
Documents marked “available on request” are being finalised for publication. Rather than link to a file that is not there yet, the request routes to the team, who will send the current version along with anything specific to your application.
Frequently asked
Common questions
Selection, behaviour and supply questions that come up most often.
What does PROASP manufacture?
Two ranges. Silicone-coated release films — spool-wound 24,000 m, MET metallised, PET polyester and polypropylene, HDPE, and silicone-coated paper release liner. And tamper-evident release films — Level 3 VOID transfer, Level 4 with a white-to-pink heat indicator, security-bag and courier-mailer constructions, and standard and dry-peel VOID films and labels. Custom and OEM development is available across all of them.
Do you sell to end users or to converters?
PROASP supplies materials to manufacturers and converters — label and tape converters, security-bag manufacturers, poly-mailer producers, flexible-packaging companies and OEM programmes. The materials become components in your finished product rather than a finished consumer item.
Can you develop a material for our specific application?
Yes. Coating, printing, lamination, slitting and winding are all in house, which makes application-specific development practical. Share the substrate, line, performance or security requirement and operating conditions, and the team will develop a construction against it.
Which VOID material should we use — standard or dry-peel?
It depends on the substrate. Standard VOID leaves a tacky residue on the applied surface and suits coated paperboard, glass, plastic and metal. Dry-peel VOID leaves a non-stick VOID message with no residue and is designed for corrugated board and uncoated paper, where residue transfer may not be suitable.
What is the difference between tamper-evident and tamper-proof?
Tamper-evident is the accurate term for what these materials do. They do not prevent someone from attempting to open a package; they make the attempt visible and difficult to conceal. PROASP does not describe its materials as tamper-proof.
How does the 24,000 m spool reduce changeovers?
A conventional roll carries 8,000 m, so producing 24,000 m of output requires three roll mounts. A PROASP spool carries the whole 24,000 m in one mount. For an equivalent production length that is up to 66% fewer changeovers, with the associated reduction in splice waste and machine downtime.
Are your materials compliant with REACH, FDA and RoHS?
Applicable release-liner grades are available with REACH, FDA and RoHS compliance. Compliance availability depends on the specific product grade and the intended application, and documentation is available on request. PROASP describes grades as compliant rather than certified, and this does not apply to every product in the range.
Can I request a sample before ordering?
Yes. Samples are part of how a construction is confirmed — particularly for silicone-coated release films, where release value is developed against your adhesive system, and for spool formats, where unwind behaviour needs to be verified on your line. Sample availability and shipping arrangements are confirmed by the PROASP team.
Do you supply outside India?
Yes. PROASP serves customers across India, the UAE and Canada, with business presence across the USA, the UK and Europe. Export enquiries are supported with documentation and packaging appropriate to the destination market.
What information should I include in an enquiry?
The substrate or packaging format, dimensions, the application, the operating conditions the material will see, and an estimate of volume. For silicone-coated release films, add your adhesive system. For tamper-evident release films, add the package format and the security response you need. The more of that you can share, the faster a suitable construction can be identified.
Need a document that is not listed?
Tell the team which product and application it relates to, and which market it is for. Compliance documentation is issued against a specific grade and application.
